How To Use The Rapid Spread Nozzle
5 simple steps from opening the cartridge box to completing the room in record time.
Attach Nozzle
Screw the Rapid Spread Nozzle directly onto any standard 29/30 oz cove base adhesive cartridge.
Set Height Guide
Loosen the guide screws, align the guide bar to match your 4" or 6" cove base height, and tighten.
Glide on Wall
Place the nozzle against the wall and pull in either direction (left or right), extruding clean uniform beads.
Press Cove Base
Unroll cove base straight into the wet adhesive ribbon and press firm. Zero mess, zero hollow spots.
Clean or Pop Plug
Rinse with water or let latex glue dry overnight and easily pull the dried plug out clean for tomorrow's job.

The Rapid Spread Nozzle is engineered to thread securely onto all standard 29 oz and 30 oz commercial cove base adhesive tubes (such as Henry, Roberts, Taylor, MAPEI, and Franklin) using standard cartridge guns.
The nozzle includes an adjustable sliding guide bar secured with precision thumb screws. You can set the guide to rest on the floor while positioning the glue beads perfectly centered for 3-inch, 4-inch, or 6-inch cove base so glue never bleeds above the top rim.
For water-based latex adhesives, simply rinse the nozzle under warm water or submerge the tip in a small container of water during breaks. Alternatively, because it is molded from non-stick HDPE plastic, you can allow leftover adhesive to cure overnight and easily pull the dried plug right out.
